What are your thoughts on the economic crisis? Should there be a bailout by the government? If the bailout is not passed, what do you think is going to happen? Why are these corporations failing? To be honest I don't understand it. If it doesn't be bailout the country will be in big trouble.

The Weekend

I slept all weekend long I didn't do nothing, but yesterday I went to a cookout and laugh with my cousin that's all I did. Douglas is so boring it ain't nothing to do I can't wait till I leave.

Sleep

I stay up round 11:30 every night and when I wake up I still be tired. Everytime I get in 3rd block I get sleepy but today I feel great because i went to sleep early. When I go to sleep late and come to school I don't feel like doing any work, so I'ma start going to sleep early.

Army Reps

I wasn't here yesterday for the Army Reps but if I was I still wouldn't join the army I don't care if they had talk to me. It's something about the army why I want join I guess cause I don't like the army.

Legal Drinking Age

I think they should keep the drinking age at 21 because some teenager's don't know how to act at the age of 18. Teenager's are very uncareful with there drinking.

Last Week's College & Career Speaker

I think the speaker was great and I enjoyed her presentation. Really I didn't have no dislikes about the presentation I liked everything she was letting us know the important things in life. I think Ms. Gay should start having speakers more often.

Being The President Daughter

How would you handle being constantly followed by someone? Would you welcome or resent the protection? Write on paragraph (5 sentences +) describing your thoughts. I think it would not be fun if you are being followed by a secret service because places you want to go by your self you can't because you would be followed by a secrect service. The only good thing about secert service they are your maid and I like that so that part would be kind of be fun.

Dog dials 911

I like how the owner train his dog to dial 911 because one day you might not be home with nobody but your pet and I think everybody should train there pet's to dial 911. This article might be unbelieveble to other people because they see the word dog dialing 911 but I think it's a good thing that a dog know's how to dial 911 because you don't know what will happen to you and nobody might not be around but that special pet thats why I think all pet's should be train to dial 911.

Homecoming 2008

Write a pargraph (at least 5 sentences) about Homecoming Week 2008. What was your experience? If you're a Junior or Senior, how did this year compare to last year? Did you go to the parade, game, or dance? I liked my homecoming it was great but the sad part about it my boyfriend wasn't here to go with me. Me and my friend Dada rode out of town we had fun together but I miss my boyfriend because I mostly go with him to homecoming and I'm not used to being by myself. I didn't go to the game, parade, or dance I just rode around most of the time me and my homegirl.

Abandoned Baby Found at Beijing Bird Nest Toilets

What are your thoughts on this article? Why do you think the mother did this? Write at least a 5 sentence paragraph expressing your thoughts. I think the mother did it because she didn't want the baby, but that still don't give her a right to put the baby in the toilet. The parent that did that to the baby need to be put in jail. Things like that just make me sick I don't like stuff like that and it makes me want to cry. I think this article is very sad and for the mother I don't feel bad for her because she need to go to jail.

Did you watch the MTV's Video Music Award Show on Sunday? What did you think about Brittney Spears performing? Who was your favorite performer? SICK D@YS

I wouldn't normally share such personal and disgusting news *haha*, but last night I was up vomiting. Typically, I wouldn't be here today because I still feel rather sickly, but with the new policy regarding substitutes in place I felt I must come to school today even though I have at least 12 sick days left for the year. If you haven't heard, your teachers will no longer be able to call in a sub due to budget issues at the Board of Education. Instead, the teachers that are at school will have to cover a teacher's class when a teacher is absent. How do you think this will affect your teachers and you? oUR class gone be missed prepare. It gone cause problems and other teachers might have other things to do on there planning time but instead they have to go sub for another teacher.

Teen Pregnancy

As everyone has observed, teen pregnancy has been on the rise over the past 2 years. Why do you think this has happened? Is it related to peer pressure? Accidental? Planned? It is related to accidental and planned because some girls don't want to get pregnant but it just happen. Other girls plan to get pregnant because they see other girls with baby's and they want one or it's a boy they call they self really love and they want to have his baby and try getting pregnant.
